Topbox January 2012 Review

Delivery Packaging:
It's the 2012 new year and Topbox is still the best at being first in delivering their boxes each month! Outer packaging is still the same, where it is a cylinder tube shape that is delivered by CanadaPost with tracking, wrapped up in brown paper. I found that the ends were sealed a bit better this month, where they either glued down or put some sort of sticky substance to hold in the ends for better security so that it is not as easily tampered with.

Packaging itself:
Same unique packaging this year with the use of the cylinder retro-vibe reusable tube. There was quite a bit of weight to the tube this time since it was packed quite full. No tissue paper probably because it either didn't fit or the contents didn't need any padding since it was filled. The colour of the crinkled strips of stuffing paper changed to a pretty purple this time compared to the black of last month.

Items inside the box:
  1. Topbox card: Give a description of all products included in the box
  2. Shu Uemura - Full Shimmer Illuminating Shampoo (full size 300ml retail: $45.00) - 75ml / 2.5 fl. oz. SAMPLE

Overall Thoughts:
I really like this month's products! They were all very good sized samples. Brand wise as well I found that all of them are quite well known, making these samples even better. Value wise for this particular Topbox is not too shabby. Although there are two cremes in this box, they both are really nice and it's a great time for creams and lotions anyways since winter weather is always horrible for the skin. I find my hands are always super dry during this season so i really do go through lotions like crazy. I'm glad that it was a full size of the Cake hand cream included in this box. I saw it in a previous month's box and thought that it was awesome that it was included. Cake stuff smells really yummy. I actually already have this exact Cake lotion myself, though it's basically finished so thank you Topbox for helping to replenish it! =) I'm particularly happy with this Topbox because I had written to them in regards to last month's box being filled with majority anti-aging products, (mind you that the brands for those products were great, it was just not very relevant to my needs) and Topbox was lightning quick with their response and had assured me that this month's box wouldn't have any anti-aging products. I'm glad that they stand by their word and that this shows that they do care about what their customers think and feel. Keep up the good work Topbox!
